East Hampton based Health Coach and Fitness Trainer Daniel Hewes shares a workout routine for hot summer days:
Time and time again, Daniel Hewes East Hampton Personal Trainer tells his clients that you don’t need to hit the gym to make major progress on your health and fitness goals. You don’t even need a home gym! Even if you live in a big city like NYC, there are still plenty of ways you can make the most of nature’s gymnasium. Here is a simple workout routine you can try outdoors today, regardless of how hot or cold it is outside:
10 minute warmup
On his way home from work, Daniel Hewes makes the most of his time with a light jog back to his apartment. But you don’t need a route to follow to integrate a light jog of your own into the day. Diversify this warm up with other simple exercises, like arm circles and jumping jacks.
100 jump rope skips
Keep this at a light pace. You don’t want to exert all of your energy in the earliest stages. Still, if you are a beginner on your fitness journey, jumping rope is great to integrate into your workout as early as possible. This is an excellent way to get that burn going!
