* This is where the sustainability and green eating alignment of Daniel Hewes’ frittata recipe comes in! Feel free to get creative with whatever you happen to have in your kitchen. Those fresh herbs on the windowsill and the veggies near expiration in your fridge will make a hearty and delicious addition to Hewes’ frittata recipe. Additionally, you may feel free to utilize a lactose or dairy free option as a substitute for milk.
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375 F. While the oven is heating up, whisk together eggs, milk (or dairy free alternative), salt and pepper. Then add half of your cheese to the mixture before setting aside.
Step 2: Oil a skillet or baking dish with olive oil, before adding minced garlic to brown. Allow to cook for 30 seconds on a burner before transferring to the oven for 60 seconds. Remove garlic from oven to pour in your egg mixture, including add-ins of choice. Bake for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
