Starting the day off with a nutritious breakfast is the most important component of Daniel Hewes East Hampton Nutritionist and Personal Trainer’s daily wellness routine. But whipping up a full meal doesn’t always fit into Daniel’s busy schedule. That’s why Dan turns to his juicer to prepare nutrient-dense fresh juice for Green Eating on the go! Here’s Dan’s Green Breakfast Juice Recipe (for fresh juice newbies):
In 2024, it’s time for you to start on your Green Eating juice journey! Maybe you’ve thought about doing a juice cleanse to slim down after the holiday season. Or perhaps you’ve always been interested in the nutritional and health benefits of making fresh juice at home. Whatever has steered you in the direction of making your own fresh juice: Daniel Hewes East Hampton Nutritionist encourages you to take that leap — or should he say, sip — with this simple Green Breakfast Juice Recipe for Beginners!
Ingredients
For Daniel Hewes’ Green Breakfast Juice, you will need:
- 1 bunch kale (chopped)
- 1 large lemon (peeled)
- 1 ginger root (peeled)
- 1 large cucumber (cut into spears)
- 2 large green apples
- 4 celery stalks
Instructions
Step 1: Wash, chop and prepare vegetables before adding all ingredients into your juicer.
Step 2: (Optional) If you aren’t a fan of pulp, don’t worry. You can strain the pulp through a sieve after juicing your ingredients. Nutritionist Daniel Hewes, naturally, encourages you to give that pulp a chance though! The health and wellness benefits are only amplified by retaining the flesh of your fruits and vegetables in your juice. But it’s not completely necessary.
