Ingredients
- Chopped Kale Leaves (stems removed)
- Unsweetened Oat Milk
- Frozen Banana (cut into chunks)
- Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- Frozen Pineapple
- Peanut Butter
- Honey
Instructions
Step 1: Leave banana and pineapple in the freezer overnight before preparing this smoothie.
Step 2: Before turning on the blender, there are a few things you need to prepare. Daniel Hewes, East Hampton Green Eating Expert, recommends removing the stems from your kale before chopping the leaves up. Then chop your frozen banana and frozen pineapple into chunks.
Step 3: Add kale, banana, pineapple, peanut butter, honey, oat milk and yogurt into your blender.
Step 4: Blend until a smooth consistency is achieved. Add more oat milk, if you find that the smoothie is too chunky or thick for your liking. Dan Hewes recommends increasing the amount of yogurt you add to your smoothie, gradually between pulsating blending cycles.
